The flexible layout includes The Café, Patio, Cabana, Lawn Areas, Oak Grove, and Pool, making for an entirely bespoke experience. Surrounded by Austin's Hill Country landscape, The Wayback feels secluded while being just 15 minutes from downtown.
Rent the entire property and invite your guests to stay in our eight boutique cottages or host your event on our patio for one night. Every Wayback event is catered by our kitchen and craft bar, sourcing the best of local.

Rest in luxurious comfort
Cottage One
A front porch welcomes you to this two bedroom cottage. Sleep comfortably in a queen bed made up with Coyuchi organic cotton sheets and a Pom Pom Belgian linen fringed throw. Across from the bed is a cozy living area with a Quatrine linen sofa and vintage desk. In the adjoining bedroom are two twin beds (note: entry to this room does not have a door; see picture).
The spacious bathroom has a shower/tub combination, Under the Canopy organic cotton towels and all-natural hair and body products.
Room amenities include Fara coffee and coffee maker, mini-fridge, hair dryer, steamer, WiFi and TV with Sling channels.
All cottages are situated around a grove of oaks and cottages 5 - 8 have Hill Country views.
Maximum occupancy 4 guests.

The Wayback cafe is open to the public, has a hearty farm-to-table menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. On weekends, brunch is served, including buttermilk fried chicken and waffles topped with Good Flow Honey.
